Sad reality that many of us are living
I have a chronic but well-controlled illness and it’s usually the only dealbreaker people have. It doesn’t help that families in the Muslim community automatically assume that illness equals disability. Even lowering my own standards has not resulted in anything yet.
Despite my success in other domains of life, I don’t think I will get married anytime soon
