  This is a deep cultural issue that strangers to that culture cannot advise

  However, your parents are your key to jannah and how you treat your wife is also a highly regarded manner in the sight of Allah and your account on the day of judgment

  I seriously think all of your families need to sit down and speak frankly

  typically, mothers are very demanding and wives are the newbs, and wives also want to be treated special

  not an easy situation, but you are the man and the leader, yet the son, so may Allah grant you wisdom
